On Computex 2010 exhibition appeared the motherboard M4A88T- I Deluxe standard size mini-ITX based on north bridge AMD 880G and south bridge SB710. Intel CPU's may have better IPC, but AMD's cores are 'fast enough,' especially in this case. ASUS Company prepared a HTPC product on base of AMD AM3 processor. It seems like a waste to spend a whole lot more on a higher-end Intel CPU and a dedicated GPU when I can just stream most of my more demanding games from my desktop via Steam. With the AMD graphics its actually compatible with a lot of old games. Tulajdonképpen már egy gombost sem férne el az F1A75-I Deluxe-on, ami ennél aligha kaphatott volna gazdagabb felszereltséget. It has a single 120mm fan in the entire enclosure and its pretty much silent. Az ASUS korábban is elég ers volt Mini ITX fronton (gondoljunk csak az M4A88T-I Deluxe, E35MI-Deluxe vagy a P8H67-I Deluxe lapokra) most viszont megkoronázták eddigi tevékenységüket. My main i7 4930k desktop uses 170w idle, this thing uses 19w. The cheap AM1 chips play 1080p video with a few seconds of buffering, the FM2+ APU's can use GPU shaders in MPC-HC and actually make decent midrange gaming machines. In-Win’s Wavy case is close to the size of the Xbox 360 slim, and when combined with Asus’ M4A88T-I Deluxe mini-ITX motherboard and a half-height Radeon HD 5570, can handle respectable frame. I don't know why, but video playback looks really good on AMD APUs and terrible on Intel iGPUs. With AMD's socket AM1/FM2+ processors I've never had any issues with video. CPU and memory: ASUS M4A88T-I Deluxe Mini-ITX Motherboard AMD Sempron 140 2.7GHz CPU - 45Watts 2GB DDR3 1066Mhz Memory Only the bare essentials to allow your GPU to thrive. AMD has nothing to match Intel on the high end, but they do have a much better iGPU.
